Congratulations Margaret Poile, a member of a team that won all its games in the recent Indoor Bias Bowls Tournament held in South Australia. The team was presented with the “John Dyer” Trophy for the week’s best performing rink. A great achievement.
The Indoor Bias Bowls Tournaments, held around Australia is the Bi-annual Women’s Test between South Australia and Victoria. South Australia hosted this week- long event from 17th to 24th 2023 at the Modbury Bowls Club. 16 lady bowlers were selected from Victorian Indoor Bias Bowls Clubs to represent our State and compete for the perpetual trophy known as the “Glad Baker Shield”. Victoria WON the series and brought home the Shield
